Your donation supports animals in need and efforts to reduce pet overpopulation.

The Madison-Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is successful in large part due to the donations it receives from its supporters. MOAS does receive financial support from Madison & Oglethorpe counties, but they aren't sufficient to cover our entire operating costs. Our shelter would not be able to survive without the donations it receives, and we certainly wouldn't be able to support our many community initiatives without your help.

Your donations not only help us with our immediate shelter needs, but they also help us fund our low-income spay/neuter and vaccine clinics and our Guardian Angel Fund. Our Guardian Angel Fund is a special resource that pays for the treatment of injured or sick animals that may be brought into the shelter. This can include the cost of treating broken bones, heartworms, dental problems, dehydration, cuts and scrapes, skin issues like mange or ringworm, and much more! In many shelters, a broken leg or being heartworms positive is a death sentence. But with your help, it doesn't have to be that way at MOAS.

Please consider making a personally significant donation to support the great work that we do. You can choose to donate to our general fund, where your donation will go immediately to the area where it is needed most, or you can donate to our Guardian Angel Fund to help in the care of the next sick or injured animal that comes through our doors. With either fund, you can also set up a monthly donation. It's easy and convenient for you, and for just a few bucks a month, you can make a huge difference in the lives of our shelter animals throughout the year!

Because MOAS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, donations are tax-deductible as authorized by law. We are happy to provide you with a tax receipt for your donation.
