Thanks to our friends at Butt Hutt BBQ, we are holding our Butts for Mutts fundraiser this May just in time for the Memorial Day weekend. We’ll be selling 50 Boston Butts smoked to perfection for at least 10 hours by the great folks at Butt Hutt. Each one will be 8-10 lbs in pre-cooked weight and will come with Butt Hutt’s signature mild sauce. We’ll be selling them for $45 with all proceeds going back to help our shelter animals! Your invited to join us for a kitten & baby shower! Drop by between 11:00am -3:00pm on Saturday, April 16th to enjoy sweets and cuddle with some babies! We are registered on amazon (see link below). You can have items sent directly to the shelter or bring it to the shower! Spring is our busy season and it is always a struggle to keep up with the influx of kittens and puppies. This event helps with the demand on supplies!

We are thrilled to be partnering again with the Northside + Westside Bottle Shop to find a lot of deserving pets wonderful homes. Even better, this time Tito’s Handmade Vodka has made a generous donation to MOAS. PLUS they are covering 50% of all adoption fees up to $500 total AND they have provided merchandise to be handed out during the event!

ADOPTION EVENT ALERT!
Mark your calendar Athens folks. Thanks to Rescue Paws UGA, we are having our first offsite adoption event in almost a year! We will have cats and kittens available for adoption on Thursday, November 19th from 4:30-6:30 at 211 North Ave. Come out and find your newest family member!
When you arrive, the gate will be open, and the adoption event will occur in the roundabout area. Parking is free!
The event will be socially-distanced, and masks will be required. More information on participating cats to follow on social media.
